The only way you can get stone in Project Zomboid is by foraging for it. It cannot be looted from any other area on the map and there is no way of crafting chipped stone at all.
If you have found an item such as a blank piece of paper or an empty notepad the good news is you can almost write on it yourself! To be able to put custom text on one of these items, you will have to find a Pen or pencil as well.
Once you have selected this option, your character will get the necessary items equipped and move to the campfire in order to light it. You will not need to do anything else to light up a campfire in Project Zomboid.
These are just some of the ways that you can carry more items around with you. As each item has it’s own particular weight your inventory can fill up fast and leave your character over-encumbered.
You can see the item slowly start to turn red. This is a good thing! This means that the item is getting heat and the water is starting to boil.
